Dr. Georgogianis Nikos (MD, MSc, PhD) is an Og-Gyn with a vast experience in the field of Assisted Reproduction.

He holds a MSc in “Research in Female Reproduction” and a PhD from the Medical University of Athens.

During his carrer he has worked as a Registrar Gynaecologist in the UK (Brighton).

He is certified in “Diagnostic and Interventional Colposcopy’ from The Greek Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathologyand in “Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology” from the Greek Ministy of Health.

He is a trainer of the Hellenic Society of Obstetric and Gynecologic Emergencies in “Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO)”.

Dr. Dimitropoulos obtained his medical degree from the Medical School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. Honors Degree with Excellence. He then trained in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Athens. Research fellow in laparoscopy and IVF at the University of San Antonio Texas, USA.

He is particularly experienced in the field of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and in endoscopic surgery.

Dimitris Papadopoulos was born in Russia and raised in Giannitsa. He studied Biology at Science Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Then he continued his studies at Larissa Medical University to get his Postgraduate Degree in Biology of Reproduction having as his supervisor the well-known Professor of Obstetrics Dr. John Messinis. He prepared his Master’s Thesis at the University Hospital of Larissa entitled «Vitrification of Ova and Embryos, prospects and problems of the method.” In the context of the postgraduate program he was trained in Assisted Reproduction Techniques (ART).

George Xygkos, after his initial studies in Medicine at the University of Bologna in Italy, with an internship in General Surgery under the guidance of Prof. F. Minni, he studied, with scholarship, Healthcare Management at Boston University. Afterwards he gained a scholarship and completed a Master in International Marketing & International Trade at Cofimp, Unindustria’s Business School, at Bologna. He later enrolled with scholarship in Advanced Studies in Health, Discrimination and Human Rights at the University of Geneva. He is now active in research in Public Health.
Palaiologou Rozina

Psychologist. Coordinator of psychoeducative and supportive groups of women with fertility issues.


Palaiologou Rozina was born and raised in Athens. She completed her studies at the Psychology Department of School of Social, Economics & Political Sciences at the University of Crete. She received her professional license by the Prefecture of Athens under No 11326 // 15-05-09. She worked for the Attica Psychiatric Hospital DAFNI. Continuing, she worked at the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health, participating both in supervising and scientific groups, as well as in programs of socialization and individual development of the patients

She has finished her training in Cognitive – Behavioral Therapy at the Company of Cognitive and Behavioral Studies. Furthermore, she completed the integrated – four-year program of theoretical and clinical practice, according to the standards of European Society of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy.

Her specific interest is focused on women’s mental health. She completed a year’s seminar courses on ‘’Parenthood and Mental Health’’, at Women’s Health Department of the first Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens. She is a coordinator of psychoeducative and supportive groups of women with fertility issues. She has given a speech in a scientific workshop for the journal ‘’Psychiatry’’, journal of the Greek Psychiatric Association, entitled: ‘’Mental issues in infertility, the framework of advisory in infertile couples.’’ She has also published an article in the journal of REA Maternity Hospital, about grief and psychological difficulties experienced by couples with fertility problems.

Maria Symeonaki, a Nursing & Midwifery Council registered (PIN Number 11F0091C), obtained her BSc in Midwifery from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens, Greece, while graduating among the top 10% of students in the year with a thesis in “Nicotine, Alcohol and Caffeine during Pregnancy, Theory & Research” (grade 100/100). She did her internship at the Alexandra’s University Hospital, Athens, one of Greece’s ObGyn hospitals with highest reputation and practiced Midwifery and Adult, Children and Neonatal Nursing in many well-known hospitals as part of her training. During her studies she won an Erasmus scholarship at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium where she completed a part of her midwifery internship at the ZNA middleheim, Antwerp, in the labour and postnatal wards. She holds a L6 degree level module in Supporting and Assessing Learning in Practice Settings (City University London) and currently is enrolled at the L7 degree level module in Newborn Examination (University of West London).

She held the position of Clinical Observer at the Kings College Hospital and Barts and The London NHS Trust – University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) – and Rotational Midwife at the Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital – Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She is currently co-responsible for the Department of Midwifery & Coordination, UK Branch at BioMaternity Fertility Specialist Clinic and holds the position of Research Midwife in Obstetric Diseases at the Women’s Health Research Centre [Imperial College London, Imperial College Health NHS Trust, National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) and the Genesis Research Trust Charity].
